[FS: General] Teac DA-P20 portable DAT recorder

For sale is a Teac DA-P20 portable DAT recorder. Includes a few blank DAT tapes.

This item is quite nice, but the rechargeable battery is - as far as I can tell - dead. Also, there is an issue with the adapter pin assembly so the adapter doesn't quite work. However, if you have any electrical savvy whatsoever, you could easily hardwire the A/C adapter. Of course, then it's not "portable" anymore, but it is a DAT recorder nonetheless.

Sooo...make me an offer. As a condition of the sale, I would require you to send back the DAT tape that is in this recorder once you get it working (just a live recording of my band from around 2002 or 2003).

Seriously though...if you want/need a DAT recorder, just make an offer. Tired of this thing taking up space here and would like my DAT tape back

Pictures possibly forthcoming. If you google search for "Teac DA-P20" you will see plenty of images and info about this recorder. Aestically it is pretty much blemish free...only saw about 10-20 hours of total use ever. Very clean (includes a protective case)
