Tasty Winds

A friend who is in a skipper course invited me to go sailing with his class. I grabbed my 7d and the 24-105. I knew I would need wider but it's the widest lens I've got with IS.

Important lesson I learned: Shooting video on a boat is akin to reading a book in a car. What makes the nausea go away? Sucking on lemon wedges.

I guess I should have posted a few years ago when I was too nervous about criticism...

Anyway, I was thinking that this was an opportunity to have used the kit lens.
1. IS.
2. Inexpensive. (Slightly dangerous location).
3. Didn't need a fast lens.
4. Only shot video.
5. Wider (17mm).
