Tape stuck in dvx!!! Please help!

I but a tape into my DVX100B yesterday, and watched a little bit of it. But when I try to eject the tape, the deck opens but the tape will not release out of the cameras hold. Boy, am I worried. If you know how I can fix this please do assist. Thank You.

If your battery has seen its last electron go out, this may happen. Try plugging into the power supply (AC adapter).

Ok thanks I will try that. It seems as if the tape is in the deck, and the top is still open. I dont know.

Ok...exactly how do I reset the camera?

Open the LCD panel...you'll see the 'reset' button... use a paperclip to depress the button.

No...the tapes still stuck. I guess I'll have to have someone look at it.
