Just bought a Canon XH A1 A that is over a year old. No problems at first. Now, the tape mechanism makes a "grinding" noise as a new tape is injested. This is definitely not part of the normal sounds made by the tape mechanism. Once the tape is loaded, a Red X appears on the lcd and says to Eject the tape. How serious will this be to repair.
