I shot this short promo video for a client trying to pitch his product to investors.
Shot on the GH1 with FD 50mm f/1.4 and 24mm f/2.8 lenses. indiSLIDERmini was also used.
Feedback would be appreciated

The spot looks great. And that tape is a great idea. Any time I'm doing woodwork, I make a point of knowing the length of the tape measure body (usually they're a round number), but this one sure makes it easier.

Looks a little shoddy in its prototype(?) form, but a great idea nonetheless.

pretty good from a technical stand, but a little uninteresting visually.
i like the closeups that show exactly how it works, but would like to see maybe a wide shot or two with the tape being used on some construction site or something.
basically, i don't get a sense of place/location....and the whole video is kind of occurring in some dark limbo space somewhere....its a little disorienting without an establishing shot of some sort.

that reminds me, i remember coming across some cool websites that allowed you to upload a script/video and hire freelance VO talent. wish i could remember the url....
