Taciturn - Short Film

We made this short back in February in three days time, from casting to the final DVD. Shot in our house and street in Amterdam, with no money of course. I was wondering about subjects like pace, rhythm, duration etc... Considering the speed and pace of many shorts nowadays I was wondering if anybody here was bothered by the length of this short film (11 minutes). This short is a very simple story that might as well could've been told in five minutes, but was specifically created around a certain mood change and build up. I was wondering if u guys could give me some feedback or comments... even if u hate it! Thanks.

I thought the camerawork, and cinematography was fantstic! However, the pace was very slow, and the climax was kinda weak, IMO.

feedback?

feedback?

Hey guys, thanks for your time and comments.

Even though I am myself a non-comment giving kinda guy,
I pledge looking more into that and commit more often to the boards.
But also would really appreciate it if more users would care to critique/give feedback here! #1 thing that helps...

Feedback frenzy :) anyone?

Thanks,
-Tommy

Fantastically shot. Really fit the mood. Great music choice. Loved the opening credit sequence with the train pushing.

Content though - I felt it could have been 7 minutes long, and that would have been plenty. Not enough "there" there. I mean, the mood was not so compelling that it didn't need something more (i.e. explanation, elaborations etc.). Either find a way to make the mood stronger, the piece shorter, or more elaboration - one of the three.
