T2i + Zoom H4n...?

So, I will be shooting several interviews for a documentary and am looking into using the H4n with my Lav mic. Is the quality of the audio high enough on the Zoom? I mean, would it be comparable to what I would get from recording audio on an HVX200?

I will be running audio through a shotgun attached to the T2i as backup, but what are your experiences with the quality from the Zoom?

If you are running 24bit 48 or higher it can be a lot better then the hvx ... Generally its going to sound as good as your mics and skill allow :smile:
