T2i won't power on

I haven't used it in a few months. Been busy in post on a feature.
I took some stills with it in Atlanta a few months ago, but other than that its been in its case.
I was going to take some stills today, and I tried to power it on and it would not come on.

I tried 2 batteries (that I think) were charged and I checked the sd card door, and the battery door.. and they seemed ok.. I even tried to power it on without a card..

would it just die? Or am I missing something?

Confirm that the batteries are charged. Try taking off any accessories besides the camera and the lens and try that on fully charged batteries.

I tried with a fully charged battery.. no dice.

I had magic lantern installed a long time ago, but uinstalled it and formatted the card and its worked fine since.

That may be your problem. I read somewhere that you cannot get rid of Magic Lantern from a card that's been "prepared" by merely formatting it. And that attempting to use that card may result in what you are experiencing. Try putting a card that has never had ML on it in the slot and see if it will power up.

If that works you may not have actually uninstalled ML successfully from the camera, once you have that worked out I think the same "utility" used to "prepare" the card is used to remove all traces of ML from the card so it will work again.

This is one reason I never tried ML on my T2i, and why I won't mess with the firmware on my T3i or 60D. I settle for what the manufacturer will support. Sorry you're having this problem.

If I'm wrong then your only option is to send it in to Canon. Is it still under warranty?

If it doesn't power up with no card in the slot then it's irrelevant whether it's run Magic Lantern.
