This short was made for the Film Racing 24 hour competition. We ran a very small crew just the DP, Director, the two actors, and a guy to go fetch Coffee or Red Bull when we started getting tired.

We were required to adhere to a theme of IDENTITY THEFT, utilize the action STRETCHING, and include a CAN OPENER as a prop.

The entire film was taken from concept to completion within 24 hours.

Shot on a T2i, Fotodiox Nikkor adapter, Nikkor 28mm f2.8 & 50mm f1.4, Jag35 Straight Rig (shakiness in film is intentional).

Hope you guys like it, any feedback is much appreciated, we just want to get better.

Entertaining mix of humor and serious, I liked it. David Lynch by way of The Matrix, it easily could have been a SNL digital if you pushed the imitation to absurdity. But I'm fascinated with why the "guy tied to a chair in a dark room with a pyscho" is such a staple of internet shorts and film race shorts in particular, it's like the Joseph Campbell Monomyth of internet shorts.

I've done it a couple times too; maybe it's popular because 1. Good production level to dramatic impact ratio 2. Has character revelations because it's basically a dialogue scene heightened by a strong tense undercurrent-sort of Hitchcock's bomb under the table, but the characters know it's there. 3. ? 4. Profit

My fav part was the tuna, because it's out of nowhere and really solidifies the movie into being some sort of Lynchian dreamscape, also I like tuna and it's funny it's always a go to gross food to eat raw, so is mayonnaise, but put them together and you get magic.

Mr. Smith: You hear that Mr. Anderson?... That is the sound of inevitability... It is the sound of your death... Goodbye, Mr. Anderson...

That was some Good acting for a quick. I would like to see more!
