T2i - Possible to monitor with or record to computer via USB?

I just ordered my T2i and am patiently waiting. I'm wondering if I can "tether" the camera to my Macbook Pro and use it as a monitor. I know the camera downconverts to 480p, but that would still be usable for me on my laptop screen.

Also, can I record to my laptop via USB?

You can use the laptop as a monitor, but no recording.

its not full 1080p res (it's a wierd resolution that live view uses) but it still works!
