Would love some input here, done the research, scoured the threads. What do you guys think......is it stable, is it worth it for me?

Love the idea of audio monitoring, exposure/focus assist, custom iso.

What versions are stable, what are you using.

Thanks

its stable. get a few good quality cards and its rock solid. I have run every version since 3-22 and its been a dream. Turn your $700 camera into a great movie making machine.

I wouldn't call it a hack really anymore. It's simply some additional software running on top the camera's OS. The latest versions are so slick to install that it's not a worry in any way. A simple update of the firmware back to the latest Canon version and your cam is identical to new. I don't know anyone who's ever gone back once using it though :)

Cheers,
Pete

Have a scenerio for you......i understand that the stable hacks are worryfree but just concerning a camera's warrentee.......if you took the ML off and went back to the original firmware would canon be able to tell the difference?

You can send it in for service and warranty repairs if you remove ML yes. It does nothing permanent to the camera.

+1

As far as what version- I think most people just switch the latest version whenever A1ex announces an update. I was on an old version until recently, but it was because I was too lazy to download the new one. Since it is really just replacing some files on the SD card, its pretty simple.

There are two versions on the site.......one from november 11th and one from august 11th.......is there a difference concerning the t2i.....stability, features, etc.
