T2i external monitor

In my home studio I currently use a 720p HDMI LCD TV connected to my T2i for pulling focus and such.

I need a solution for use off-site and am wondering if getting a 7-inch HDMI monitor is worth the extra $$ or if I should just go with a standard 7-inch monitor with AV input.

I'm considering one of these:

A friend of mine bought the wireless transmitter set for his marshal monitor and he loves it. But I think the 5D outputs differently than the T2i.

I am using a Liliput 7" HD monitor. It works great and it helps pulling focus a lot easier. Only after hitting the record movie button, the screen will go blank for about 5 seconds. Video still recording. It's just T2i switch the HDMI out to SD.. but it is still very clear and useful in adjusting focus while filming. You can look at my setup here

I can get a good deal of this Lilliput montior. Email me at info@lacolorshop.com for more info.

if you switch the setting to dvi it doesent pause or go blank, its instant. and this is while using hdmi,

Where do you see a setting for DVI over HDMI? I cant find this anywhere in the settings but it seems like a perfect fix!

Thanks for the info its greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I saw someone in the Marketplace selling a used Lilliput kit, so I bought it. Hopefully it's just what the doctor ordered.

Does anyone know if I can get a short HDMI to HDMI-mini cable (1-foot or less)? Seems silly to use a 3-foot cable which the shortest I have now.
