Hi Guys,
Was looking at the Switronix adapter Dtap adapter for the 7D. It can regulate standard 14.4v down to 7.2v.
Now in order for it to work with 7D/5D you have to plug it into the DR-e6 DC Coupler which has a cable attached to it. Does anyone know if that is just an RF Choke on the power cable or is it something else?
Basically, what I want to do is go from the switronix adapter to the DR-e8 t2i dc coupler via a basic adapter cable from Radioshack. If that's just an RF choke on the power cable it seems like this should be a fairly simple solution; however, if it's another sort of regulator then it's a whole nother story.
