T2i - chances of getting dead pixels "out of box"

Hi

I am considering to buy this for a friend who lives out of the country. What are the chances of getting a T2I with a dead pixel in video mode? When I received my 5DmrkII it had a dead pixel and I had to send it back to Canon... but as this is a gift, I won't have the time. What's your experience?

Thanks

I just thought about it and I can just go to B&H and ask them to open the box and test the camera before I buy... but anyway, I would be interested to hear your experience with this.

I will go with a 18-135 mm kit + a 50 mm 1.8 ..... it's all a gift for someone. Nice friend, ha? :-)

I bought mine from Bestbuy.com and it was fine. Now, these are consumer electronic products so there is always a chance that you can get a bad one, but with a company with the size and reputation of Canon, I think that the chances are pretty low.

As long as you say so. are we suppose to say" WOW, I wish I were your friend" Boy your a good friend. Why don't you just admit it's you bed buddy. By the way, whats his name? So we know who it is when he joins up to ask about buying accessories to make his rig.

What is your problem? With an attitude like that I would be willing to bet one problem you don't have is getting gifts from friends. Give us a break.
