T2i and GoPro Handgun Commercial - 30 sec

Here is an edit I was DP on with my newly purchased Canon T2i (this summer). We also mounted a GoPro HD camera to the gun for some of the shots.

Thanks, I'm trying to find some pictures of the mount we created. It helped to have the camera mounted directly to the gun so it made more of a video game look. Previously we had mounted the camera to the wrist, but you lose the 'first person shooter' look because the camera doesn't directly move with each gun movement.

I liked your camera work and visually the spot really moves. But the announcer... even with reverb didn't work.

I would agree 100% with the announcer. He is a guy we have in house that already does a lot of commercials and radio work. So, in my perspective, the editor wanted to change things a tad to hide that it was the same announcer. I feel the same way for sure.

How did you edit the GoPro footage? What codec did you use?

Converted both T2i and GoPro footage from the native H.264 codec to ProRes in Compressor...Then back to H.264 to upload on Vimeo.
