T2i : 1 minute of random footage.

Ah….so you’ve crossed over to the DSLR realm. Is this your new main tool or will you be using it in conjunction with your HV20? I think they would make a nice couple.

...still downloading 4 me.

Had to get rid of the HV20, flying solo with the T2i. Picked up the 50mm as well but didn't use it in any of this footage, just the stock lens.

It's about 170MB so it may take a bit depending on your speed.

Beautiful! Hate to see the HV20 go, but... life goes on. I really like the T2i.
It looks every bit as good as the 7D IMHO. (just make sure you don't 'rack' us to death:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG))

How are you going to control that on your crane?

Thanks, guys!

Zaza, first thing I need is a tripod for my crane. :)
Secondly, not sure what you mean by control but I figure I'll use it much like I did when I borrowed a crane for CFTFB.
It seemed to work well with the HV20.

I used it to rise up from Ian's foot to his face starting at the 3:04 mark, then to close in on the book at the 4:22 mark and finally to swing in on Ian at the 5:20 mark.

Is that what you mean or are you talking focus issues?

Really looking forward to using this camera for a short film soon. No worries though, maybe one or two rack focus' at most. :)

Footage looks nice.

I know how much you liked using the naked HV20 so I think with this tool you can get even more creative. You're gonna like that 50mm (aside from its real cheap build)...from all the footage I've seen from it....it's sharp. Only reason I don't have that particular one is because I already have an old Takumar 50mm that I love.
