t-shirt printing?

[alveraz]

I need a place that does t-shirt printing. Hopefully something affordable but not terrible quality. This is for a non-profit soccer academy for low-income families and their kids. Thoughts? I'll need 20 printed but want to see one first before I order the rest. Is that possible? Screen printer recommendations welcome. Thanks!

probably best off finding a local place... particularly for such a limited run.

just my 2 cents though

contagiousgraphics.com does short runs and has cheap rices. They are in NC. I would imagine ,like jason said, that you could find a wealth of cheap screen printers in LA.

We have an entire division that just does this sort of stuff--tshirt printing, embroidery, promotional items. You can PM me and I'll have one of our sales reps contact you if you want, but shipping to LA will drive the price up. You would probably do best, as suggested, to look local. Just check in the phone book for screen printing or promotional items. There should be something there.

Odd first post...

It's like they're not even trying anymore, Terry.

Who's not trying?

Another option is finding someone in a printmaking course in a local university who screen prints.

I was referencing the very-spammy-looking link from aakash.

I've ordered from http://www.customink.com/ in the past and always had a good experience.

Vistaprints is always hella cheap. I got some T-shirts from them and they were okay. I mean...they were T-shirts with logos printed on them. Not sure how quality differs between companys other than the actual shirt used.

I also had hats made from them and the hats were small. They'd work well for kids, women and small men with tiny skulls, but that's about it.
