Syncing T2i 24p with Zoom H4n in FCP

Anyone have any experience doing this?

I'm shooting a project this weekend and the sound guy will be using the zoom h4n and I'll have to sync it up with my T2i, 24p footage when I edit.

I heard there are some complications when it comes to the zoom h4n holding sync, but all the solutions I've seen seem to refer to people who are filming 30/29.97 fps and nothing specific to 24p. Does it make a difference?

I believe the audio will be 16-bit, 48khz wav (mono?) audio.

You will not run into problems. I've done full 12min takes Zoom and 7d 23.976 and all was perfect. Nothing to worry about.

Use a clapper or Plural Eyes as mentioned above. Do a google search for the demo video.

no issues, I leave my H4N on for the duration of the interview i'm doing and cut the camera at the 12min mark, re-slate when starting up the video again and it works every time.

The only time I've had issues was when I recorded at something different than 48khz. Stick with 24bit/48khz and you'll be good.

Pluraleyes also works like a dream but if it's too pricey (don't pirate it. it's tempting, but dont.) just do old-fashioned slate and you'll be set!
