Synch Problem - Canon 7D, Zoom H1 and Final Cut Pro 7

I'm a noob here so please be kind.

I'm having an issue with my Canon 7D that I have never experienced before. This is my first time working with the Zoom H1 recorder by the way. I knew some crazyness would pop up with it but nothing like this.

Hoping someone here can assist. I have recorded my sound on the Zoom H1 recorder in MP3 mode. My 7D is set to 30fps.

The synch in the edit software (Final Cut Pro) has been set at two different Easy Set up profiles. 1 at 23.89 and the other at 30. The interviews in both cases start playing normally, are all synch'd up until about 1min 30 sec and then it starts to drop the synch. By the end its just insanity and the synch is completely gone.
Any ideas why this is happening? Anyone else had issues like this and were able to solve it? I'm just about to pull my hair out here.

I can provide any additional info with my settings if anyone needs to know. Just ask.

Thanks for reading.

Sounds like the audio from the recorder and the camera were not recording at the same speed hence the sync issues. You should look into the PluralEyes plugin for FCP that is made for this very reason
