Switch from xh-a1 to 7D?

Hello, Im wondering if i should sell my canon xha1, and replace it with a 7D. I shoot mostly action-sports and some times commercials, and I think 60P would be great for action-sports(mostly skiing/snowboarding)

The thing is, Im really not shure what to do. I feel that I wouldnt be taken serious by customers if I show up with a DSLR-cam for a video shoot. And I do a lot of followcam-shooting in my sports-vids, would the swallow DOF from the 7D be an issue here?

One of the main reasons why I am considering the 7D is:
swallow DOF, 60P, the size, it doesent capture on tape.

I cant afford having both cams.

Btw sorry for my english, Im from Norway..
 
7D is not for you. rolling shutter will kill u . action sports?! nah...consider an hmc150 (hmc151 or 152 depending on ur region of the world) Since u want 60p..and no tape recording and its ccd...so no rolling shutter. hmc150 records to SD cards (affordable media) and the camera itself is a reasonable price. I'd put the $ there.
