Swit Monitor connect with A1-XH

Hi guys hope you all had a great christmas.

My brother bought me a swit monitor for my Canon Xh-a1 which I was happy to open. Only problem is, how do i connect it? Sorry if stupid question but the Swit came with no connection wires and the Canon Xh-a1 does not seem to have the right connection cables, or is it me?

Thought Id take some pics so you can see the connection options, also if its safe to position how I have. Excuse the mess in my room. And crappy pics took from phone

Looks like that particular SWIT model is composite and S-video out only. The component connectors (above the red input) has been blocked off or removed somehow. This is what it should look like

Even with those component connectors in place, you need 3 BNC adapters to put in there, and then that'll connect to the component (red, green, blue) cable that comes with the A1.

Thanks mate, so once I get the 3 BNC adapter, I will be able to view what I am recording in real time or will the monitor only work when in play back mode? Sorry if Im being a bit blond
 
Real time, except those BNC connectors are useless unless you have the appropriate component connectors coming out of the monitor itself. If this model is supposed to have them, you need to contact Varizoom.

Just to let you al know that the Swit monitor in question here, requires only a single BNC cable for monitoring visual. this swit model has a video in and out BNC port.

so canon xh-A1s video2(BNC) port to swit monitor(BNC) inport

Audio can also be sent to monitor through usual means.
