SWIT Battery with DC Connector for AF100

Just got an email from SWIT saying that they will have an AF100 compatible battery with a DC output connector by end of February. It's $99 list price:

Perfect for nanoFlash or external monitor like the TV Logic WFM-056WP 5.6"(or similar)!

It should power the AF100 + Nanoflash, but the AF100 + a monitor would be too much I would think.

Brian, the nanoFlash consumes 6 watts, the TV Logic WFM-056WP consumes 9.6 watts, so it shouldn't be a big deal. A Panasonic BT-LH80 would be a problem, but that's a 12V monitor with 1.5A power consumption.

Well this would be good news if it's true. The SmallHD DP6 uses 6 or 8 watts depending on whether you have the HDMI version or SDI version, so if it'll work on the TV logic it should work with both versions of the SmallHD DP6.

If the monitor draws too much, just put a dimmer on it! Kidding. Please don't hold me responsible for anything I might post--I haven't had a chance to blow this combination up yet!

It will power the AF100 camera plus NF. Anything more than that will drain the battery real fast, depends on the monitor power demand. We expect the batteries to arrive end of February, you can pre-order at http://dolgin.net/zen_dolgin/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=14&products_id=92

I use one when I have the camera stripped down for the jib or the blackbird. IDX Endura's otherwise.

Several. Voigtlander 25, Zeiss ZF.2 35 f1.4 and a Tokina 11-16. All work fine, the Zeiss 35mm is probably about heaviest you'd want to go. It's the new 1.4, it's quite a big lens.
