FEATURE: Survival - The Feature, based on our Timefest Entry...

Another update: it looks like we don't need the extra cash after all. Things have been taken care of and we are rolling again.

Attorneys (theirs and ours) are scheduled for talks today about money, escrow accounts and the like. The release of the funds will still be contingent on our securing the name talent for our film, and I am told we have several good options for a casting director. Again, no names until we have signatures, but if we get just one of the actors on our list the funds go through. And trust me, you know these names :)
 
Well after a long absence from this forum I am here to say that I miss all you guys and am seriously going to become more active once again. Not that most of you would care but...I'm just sayin...
 
Seriously considering backing off the whole big budget thing and just doing it super low budget like we originally wanted to... Turns out these Hollywood types are just no fun at all.

I don't have the experience first hand but I read some books about first time directors and their film making journeys. Your case sounds pretty similar to the ones that I read :) Many cases in the books took several years looking for funds before the projects could go into production.
 
So our last investor didn't want to be the first to jump into the water. Now we are (finally) finishing up our "official" business plan and PPM to be sent out to multiple investors at once. No more of this "one investor at a time" nonsense (which was not our plan, nor our fault).

Also we will soon have a redesigned website. That's it for now.
 
Haven't been here in a while, but things are finally starting to happen again, so hopefully we'll have more announcements in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
 
Just finished the Film Brief package for Survival. Once it's approved by legal, we can send it out into the wide world.

Investors, here we come :)
