I apologise if this question has been addressed elsewhere in the GH forum, I couldn't find anything on it so I'm posting this now……..
I've the GH4 and frankly it's a camera that I have grown to really appreciate so much so that I am thinking seriously of stepping up to the GH5, but here's the question that might prevent me doing so and just stick with the GH4.
Can I use my Super16 lenses on the GH5 as I've been doing very successfully with the GH4?
I've a large collection of S16 glass, from a full set of Zeiss SS's MkIII's, Optex 5.5mm/8mm wide angles to Cooke, Canon and Fuji S16 zooms all of which have been great to use on the GH4 when the sensor is "downsized" for 4K……But would the S16 glass work well on the GH5, ( especially the wide angle lenses ), because I believe that the newer GH5 sensor doesn't change it's size/format for 4K?
Have any of you who have "traded up" to the GH5 been using S16 glass?
Thanks!
