Super beginner HD-SDI question....

Forgive me in advance - I know a lot about some things and just about nothing about others. Can I output from my 60D to a Marshall HD-SDI monitor?

No. The 60D doesn't have HD-SDI output.

You could get an external HDMI->HD-SDI converter box, from blackmagic or AJA. However, I don't think the 60D outputs HD during recording, does it? I think it drops to SD, so ... I don't know whether you'd really find it worth it.

But, if you want to, you can -- you'd just need that converter box.

No. The best you can do is hdmi out, which will drop in quality as soon as you go into record.

only the 7D has higher than SD res output during record, and its something like 1440x900 anyways.
