GH2 Suggestions about adapters

Hello everybody,
Are the adapters all the same? Do the expensive adapter "perform" better?
I just saw an adapter for Nikon AI-S lenses on gh2. There are many of them on eBay, some for about 50$, others (Voigtlander adapters) for $150.
What do you usually prefer? The (very) cheap taiwan ones or the most expensive ones?

I use several of the cheap Fotodiox adapters for Canon FD and Nikon lenses.

They work great. Precision fit and finish. Just two suggestions:

1) Do not expect to get manual aperture control from any of the adapters, cheap or expensive. They only give you a basic open-lock switch for the aperture. If you have e.g. a cheapo Nikkor G-series lens with no aperture ring, forget it. You absolutely need an aperture ring on the lens itself.

2) Buy a lens hood for each lens, and extend/matte it as necessary to crop the image circle down to something closer to the 4/3 sensor circle. That goes a long way towards reducing glare and improving contrast.

The open-lock ring on my cheap Canon FD to M4/3 adaptors operates very nicely as a smooth step-less aperture ring. There is a little pin that operates the lever that is normally 'fixed' with the toothpick/matchstick trick & if this lever is fixed then the aperture ring on the adaptor doesn't work.

What kind of Adapter do you use?
