Suggested Workflow once Shooting is Complete

Okay guys,
I just edited a documentary and my workflow was so chaotic that I promised myself I would get some advice from forum members before I tackled anything else. So, for the sake of this thread, let's say you are done shooting and you are ready to start making your movie. What is the workflow process for those using the FC Studio. Here is my thoughts, but of course, I have not tried it yet so please make suggestions:

1. Use some program (possibly cinema tools) to get all the footage the same. For me, that would mean Apple Pro Res. At this point, also change everything to 24p, 30p, etc so that it will all be the same for FCP.
2. Import footage into FCP
3. Edit footage (w/o using transitions)
4. Media Manager to trim the fat and clear up space
5. Soundtrack Pro to sweeten audio or add sound effects, etc
6. Color
7. Compressor
8. DVD Studio Pro
9. And then go back to FCP to do a QT Conversion of H264 for website postings, etc

How does that look to everyone?
