Suggested fast wide prime for GH1?

OK ... building a nice set of fast primes for the GH1. Now have:
20mm Panasonic 1.7 (equivalent to 40mm full-frame)
35mm Canon FD 2.0 (equivalent to 35mm full-frame)
50mm Canon FD 1.4 (equivalent to 100mm full-frame)

Any suggestions for something fast and wide -- like, say, 14mm (equivalent to 28mm full-frame)?

Thanks,
Bradley

How is the 35mm Canon FD 2.0 equivalent to 35mm full-frame? Or is that a typo?

Your 35mm lens would be the "equivalent" of 70mm, not 35mm...

Or the 14/2.8 from Samyang in the 4/3 mount:

Remember the 2x crop factor, none of the lenses that you listed is wide. The 35mm will have a 70mm FOV.

I can't wait for this lens, I'll probably get it in EOS mount to go with my Samyang made 85mm f/1.4 - surprisingly good lenses for little $$$! These have manual aperture rings (or at least the 85mm does) so even an Eos version + adapter has full and easy functionality without buying the expensive 4/3 to m4/3 adapters.

Indeed, optically, it should be a very nice lens. Th only concern is the size when compared to the upcoming 14/2.8 from panasonic. The rumor has it that it will be even smaller than the 20/1.7. However for most of you who need a lens to shoot a video project, portability may not be that big a concern.

Absolutely - no doubt the Panasonic 14mm f/2.8 is probably a better choice, it's really just going to be a matter of which lens is available first (for me) - the one plus that the Samyang lens will have is that it will cover a full 35mm film negative, and so it would be usable on cameras ranging from the Canon 5D MKII, 7D, to anything else you can adapt it (GH1).

I wanna know this too. I need a wide lens that has a bit of distortion on it for a upcoming feature, and I don't know what to do but stick an adapter onto a lens I already have...

The Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 is an option - it's available in Leica M mount and some others. Not super expensive, but not super fast.
