Turned out a lot better than I thought it would! This is pretty intense stuff =)
I actually got kicked on the chin while filming (accident) it's the kick that repeats 3 times. I was happy that my buddy kept going /w it tho and didn't stop, cause it was a great shot =).

After doing this video, I've realized doing fight scenes is an art... and Hollywood has seem to forgotten that for the most part.

thanks guys =)

The "art" statement kind of confuses me. Please clarify.

well, for the most part, this is why the action genre is dying and wasn't nearly as big as it was n the 80s and 90's. No one is doing anything new. The biggest change we had was matrix and ong bak.
And then they shifted to shakey camera action scenes which I really don't like. They use it because they don't have to do any proper choreography.

Also, with all the super hero movies/series coming out, a lot of their fight scenes with powers could be a lot more epic. I.e Heroes, spiderman vs venom, or x-men.
I think ironman and the ed norton hulk did the best job out of the action scenes for the super powered genre.

fight choreography is certainly an art and I really like what you did here. good work.
I like zack snyders fight scenes in Watchmen...

yeah the watchmen did a great job... especially the prison fight scene and the last fight scene. Great use of fast/slo motion...

Each character had a certain style/movement that matched their "persona"

I like the eastern style fight choreography like that of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Ip Man. Once Upon A Time In China also has great fight choreography.
