1DC: Subforum for frame grabs?

I've seen some of the other camera boards have sub-forums specifically for frame grabs. That seems like a great idea.

The Cinema EOS line deserves something like that. One sub-forum for the whole C100/300/500 1Dc line.

It's a goto place to exchange thoughts images/looks. Great for comparisons. A good way to share ungraded frames for other to play with.

I'm sure there are many of us who shoot stuff that we can't release due to contract obligations, but single frames might be OK depending on subject matter. Or, we just shoot something personal that looks pretty, but it isn't enough for a short film, and we still want to share?

I think a "strictly footage" sub-forum would be a great addition to the Cinema EOS Camera forum.

Agreed. Tiff frame grabs are my most preferred method for evaluating image quality. Easy, small, fast and represents the original file.

Yeah, i've got some old grabs.

I think the 1DC and C500 may benefit the most from that. The C300/100 always bothered me a bit. A good image, just over hyped during a bygone dslr era. I might like a c300 to replicate a s16 or vintage look though.
