stuff that always looks good in movies

John Woo has scarred my ass with slow mo.

In fact; I'll never use it for fast motion scenes just to piss Mr Woo off.

I think we're getting off topic here, John - back to Winona

I heard she was getting a new coat tommorow! Thoughts? Comments?

I'd like to see more of this in movies:

It must be her relatives

Something I won't ever get is the love for (cheap) horror/zombie flicks around here. Oh well...

That's okay. I'll never understand the Spielberg & Lucas worshipers. Everyone has their thing. It's cool.

Back on topic.

Aston Martin always looks good in movies :)

BTW, that DB5 only *looks* cool. Got to try it out a couple of weeks ago. My friend, a reviewer for a car magazine and pretty dang good racer/driver, gets to drive some exotic and unique stuff from time to time not only as part of his job. There is this multi-millionnaire lady who likes to have her garage packed with stuff like Ferrari and Bentley... don't know the whole story, but they met once and he's been delivering every new toy for her since then. Like when she decides to get a '67 Rolls Royce as a gift for someone and orders it from UAE, from some local sheikh, she asks him to pick it up in Saint-Petersburg (700km from Moscow), where it arrives in port, and bring it here (for a decent paycheck, of course). Sooo, one of her recent purchases happened to be the aforementioned Aston Martin. My friend had to drive it over 700km and invited me to see what it's like... And I gotta tell you, fellas, it's as comfortable as a freakin stool. Maybe it was all that back in 60s, but no way would I drive this thing today. And it's not like they couldn't make luxury stuff back then - because that '67 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow was really really nice - but this thing is simply undriveable, if there is a such a word. It's only good to look at, which is quite a waste for $130k...
