stuff that always looks good in movies

timelapses
focus pulls
the trick where you dolly in but zoom out at the same speed and the background does that effect
strip clubs
phone numbers starting with 555
thats all i can think of

Okay...

...so far, we have:

FADE IN:

In time-lapse, several months pass on a New York street corner, as an apartment building is constructed. The passage of time SLOWS to normal, and we

RACK FOCUS

To the INTERIOR of a car parked in the foreground. There's a PIZZA DELIVERY sign stuck on top.

INT. CAR

The pizza deliveryman studies his delivery stub. CAMERA DOLLIES IN/ZOOMS OUT as the deliveryman, stunned, looks up at the address:

EXT - DELIVERYMAN POV - STRIP CLUB

INT. CAR

The deliveryman checks the delivery number: 555-2637. He gets out of the car.

EXT STREET

SLOW MOTION: The deliveryman crosses the street. He looks up, his mouth slowly forming a round "O" of surprise as WINONA RYDER, at the wheel of a black Aston Martin, swerves wildly toward him. Ryder, distracted, tugs irritably at a Lord & Taylor loss-prevention tag stuck to her blouse.

SFX - *THUD*

BLACK - DELIVERYMAN'S POV

Different colored LIGHTS dance in darkness. BLURRY daylight appears. Someone is leaning over him, SLAPPING him HARD in the face.

EXT STREET - CONTINUING

The deliveryman levers himself upright, climbs to his feet, and THROWS UP. He looks up, wiping his mouth, to see JULIETTE BINOCHE offering him a plate of SCONES...then the HAZE clears from his vision, and it's just a derelict in a tattered overcoat, offering him the dropped, crushed, ruined PIZZA.

.... but the most memorable car ever on screen for me personally was the piano black Ferrari 250 GTO at the beginning of "Vanilla Sky"...

Such an awesome scene, with the empty time square...

Steve McQueen's Mustang in Bullitt.........

Sad Max,

Can you add a sci-fi element to that script and take it a couple of more pages?

I still need a story to shoot for the sci-fi fest.

You had me LMAO sitting here.

aka a "push-pull"

I'm going to have to add midgets. They just add a lil something special when sprinkled about in a script somewhere. Maybe its just me.

You started by saying that "slow motion ALWAYS looks good".... I thought you were joking.
