Stuck Nikon Adapter

I finally received the Nikon/M43 adapter from Ceicio7 and am excited about putting some Nikon primes on the GH1. I'll share my thoughts, for what they're worth, later. But right now I have a problem. The adapter easily mounted and dismounted from a 50mm and a 28mm. But now I can't get it off of a Nikon 135mm lens. There doesn't appear to be any kind of release. The lenses just screwed in and out w/o any kind of obvious lock or click. There is a little screw in the side of the adapter that easily comes in and out (I know I'll lose this quickly), but I don't think it has anything to do with releasing the lens.

Has anyone else had this problem and know what I can do to release it?

YES

put the screw back in and push it up towards the camera it will disengage the lock.

you might have to jiggle the adapter so the hole is lined up made that mistake just last night
 
Wow! Easiest thing in the world when you know what to do. Thanks so much, Ken.

My quick impression of shooting with fast primes is that this will be an awesome addition to the camera. It's amazing how much faster these lenses are. And the accompanying shallow DOF means I will probably shoot every interview I conduct with one of the Nikons from here on out.

That being said, these old lenses are shaky as all get out. Tripod required for my unsteady hands. And I do miss the amazing, intuitive, and quiet beast that is the kit. We can't underestimate enough how groundbreaking the 14-140 really is. If only it was speedy...
 
The 14-140 is quite the work. Shame on the slow apertures.

I'd love a set of primes with the HD treatment. Still waiting to see how the 20/1.7 actually performs. I had a brief try but due to the conditions I wasn't able draw any definite conclusions.
 
I, too, am excited about the Panasonic 20mm. This could prove to be THE steadicam lens for the GH1. Also, it should be really good for documentary shooting, especially in cramped quarters like cars.
