The 1/4 hole on the handle. Very annoying (and stupid of me) as I use it all the time. Anyone know how to replace this? It looks like the threading is separate from its mount. I tried undoing the four screws that surround the mount but it doesn't seem to loosen anything with the aim of taking it out and replacing it.
 
Canon seems to have great support through their LA office. Id give that a call. Im looking at a C100 and the people behind the camera is part of the reason why.
 
I'm in Brazil which unfortunately doesn't have a Canon Service centre which is a shame as DSLR shooting has taken off here in a big way.
 
Ahh sorry to hear that. Was kind of hoping you were in Aus., and I could put you on to the man to sort you EQE.
