your name sounds familiar...Im an east coast magician...what tricks?

you can answer me privately if you'd rather not go off topic on this thread

I have released Power Word Fall www.powerwordfall.com and Mage Touch. I will be releasing something through illusionist that is coming out in May involving pyrokinesis. :)

UPDATE: The boom pole is made, and Sound tests are happening tomorrow. Framing, Location, and lighting tests will happen on Monday. Friay is the first filming! AHHHH! It is soo sooooon.

Matt, I can loan you my boompole for the duration of the shoot if you'd like, it's a Gitzo carbon fiber model that goes to around 9 ft. I'm a big fan of the original Stricken and I would be glad to help out in anyway I can if you have needs of my gear or any else, just let me know.

Matt - if you need a pair of fresh eyes to look over some dialogue or anything, let me know, I did a little touch up for Brandon on two of his projects, be glad to help out in any way.

UPDATE: A Huge THANK YOU to Huy Vu for the use of his boom pole. It is greatly appreciated. Another huge THANK YOU to Mark Johnson and Fat Monster for throwing his HVX200 into the project. This place truly is an amazing and supportive community. 4 days and counting until cameras roll! -Matt

UPDATE: I will be going to the first location and shooting test shots tonight. Everything will be much clearer after that. Friday is coming quickly and is our first shoot date. We have so much to do and not much time left. WE Can Do It! haha :) -Matt

Another magician here :) nice to see so many of us with the same hobbies!

Cheers

Now if I could make distribution appear..... Haha :)

UPDATE:
Huy Vu's boom pole came in....WOW! Thank you!!! It is awesome. We will use it all the time! Thanks for the loan!

Update!

It seems my dad has built three 4 bank daylight indie Kno Flows he is calling Shocklights. I am hoping we will be able to avoid a lot of hot tungsten and light with the Shocklights. If we have to use Tungsten, I have the gels of color temp changing goodness. One day until Film Blastoff! -Matt

Wow. That sounds like a nifty gadget. How does the light output compare to a 2k w/ softbox or some such? I'll be using a light hungry adapter on my next project and need a similar solution (daylight balanced is great too). How much does the rig your dad made cost?

Good luck on Friday.

I believe it throws much more light than the 2k with softbox. I will see on the shoot. Each Shocklight with stand cost my dad about 70 dollars. I will post how it goes.

UPDATE:

Well, I just made several panes of Rubber glass tonight. Interesting stuff. When it dries after 16 hours of curing it should be able to be broken up and look like broken glass. I can then throw it at people's faces when glass breaks without them being hurt.

It appears we may also have the run of a vacant hospital. We will soon see. -Matt
