I am considering this remote (link) as it is inexpensive and will do what I want... I think. One of the reviews says that the max a GH2 can do on time lapse is 60 seconds. Is this accurate?

This intervalometer looks fine but I don't have any experience with it. I am using this one and it works quite well. Not sure what you mean about the max time lapse for the GH2 is 60 seconds... I have done time lapses for several days with intervals from seconds to hours... Perhaps you mean the max exposure time? In camera may be a max of 60 sec (i'd have to look that up in the manual). An intervalometer should allow you to externally control the shutter for longer exposures.

I just picked up the wireless version of the one you are using. It arrived yesterday and I had a great time with it. Now I just need to get the right settings dialed in.. Getting the right amount of motion blur is what I'm wrestling with. If you have a suggested setting (or if there is a thread here that dealt with it) feel free to point me in the right direction.

I had reason somewhere on here about that issue, but I did not run into it yesterday. Love the timer. No gripes here.

I'm confused... are we talking about time lapse (eg: 1 picture every minute)or about bulb mode (eg: one picture with a 10 sec shutter speed)?

isn't the rule for shutter to fps ratio, shutter is half of interval. (eg, if frame is 24 fps so interval of 1/24 sec, shutter is 1/48 sec, so if your fps is 10 sec, your shutter should be 5 sec)? Or does that only apply in slow motion (high FPS)?
