I've seen an NTSC HPX170 here in the UK going rather cheap.
Anyone know of a stolen camera database or registry in the US I could look the serial up on?

So you pretty much would like to know if the price is what it is because it may be a stolen camera? If thats the case, I have also wondered that at times myself. More importaintly to me, though, is if these databases do exist, how to register my gear, and how they would help track down stolen gear? To me, 9 out of 10 people I know the thought wouldn't cross their mind whether the stuff they just picked up might have been stolen then sold to them...

Good question, I would like to know whats up with a registry/database sorta system for stolen cameras...
