Cold, grey, & wet? In Seattle? Those are the three reasons I eventually moved from there, although the resultant summers were so beautiful - makes me want a summer house someday up that way - perhaps on one of the ferry islands like San Juan Island on something. I do truly miss Ivar's though - the upscale one, and the fast food variety as well. Great image though - it does make me feel the drizzle as though I was right there.
Speaking of San Juan Island - has anyone set their narrative there yet among the filmmakers up there? I always thought that would be a great locale, and could have integrated the ferry ride over into the early part of the story. Perhaps a horror flick at one of those bed and breakfasts?
