What is the best tool to encode videos. I know this is posted on youtube but even the version that I have on my computer is not that crisp in terms of video sharpness. Can someone help please?

Sorry man but you got worst problems. You need to get a tripod or shoulder mount or just find a way to stabilize your footage.
When thats settled, encode with a higher bitrate than youtube or vimeo suggests that would be around 6-8000Mbs.
Goodluck !
