C100: Still no automated fix for 25psf clips in FinalCutX (or other NLEs)...?

I know the issue was started by creating this strange "psf" format, but I was hoping this would be fixed on the NLE side.
Like a small checkbox at import, saying "change field order to progressive" and maybe even make this a default option.

Thing is: I knew this when editing my first C100 projects , but since I´m not editing myself that often, I just forgot again.
Guess this is just a rant, but I still hope there's a solution...

So the 10.1.4 update released last week didn't fix it? I assumed it did since the release notes stated that it fixed an issue with importing clips with certain frame rates from Canon. I never shoot psf so have never had to deal with the issue.

I don't think it's just a matter of telling your NLE that the footage is progressive. I found
PF worked fine with mpg2 in the past, but I think you're at a risk of cadence errors if you edit H264 PF. Your mileage may vary and it might just be a silly superstitious ritual, but I transcode AVCHD PF footage (which thank goodness I no longer have a lot of) to an intraframe codec before I touch it on a timeline.

Make sure you're importing from the memory card (or directly from camera) with the entire file structure intact. Don't just rip out the media files and dry to work with them.

Some converters can deal with rogue clips, but NLEs typically want to see the whole recording file structure on import to deal with them correctly.
