Still Mode on FS700

The production house I work at uses an fs100, and I love it. Been following the fs700 very closely, and I was curious about the Still Camera mode on it.
I have not heard any specific information on it. I thought some of you guys might know about it.

What kind of images does it create? like raw, jpg, tiff? also what resolution, Is it just a sampled down 1920x1080? or is it closer to 4k native sensor resolution?
Also does anyone have any samples straight from the camera?

Looking good so far. I plan on doing a photo shoot with it next week actually. Will report back with a link to photos!
 
For crappy pictures they look pretty good. Perfectly useable. I'd much rather have an amazing video camera that takes excellent stills than an amazing DSLR that takes excellent video. I mean you can't match this to what a 5D can do still wise. But I have now compared the images directly to identical setups I did with the 5Dmkii and I feel much more confident about the images I am capturing now. Fine low level detial just doesn't hold up with the Canon. And it's not like I'm using an external recorder.
 
Too bad it doesn't shoot those stills in RAW... but then the jpegs from the camera look okay as long as you don't zoom into full resolution
 
I assume he means for testing, I doubt he's shooting a print ad with it, lol!!! Would be nice To have RAW...

well it's 11.6 Mpixels in the actual camera for the native sensor and when I take a photograph
its 8.3Mpixels - it's not bad, it's not brilliant,
the quality is just ok though.. it really isn't a stills camera, it's a great video camera,
for stills stick with the dslrs"

Yes, Thats what I was thinking too, maybe these stills would give us a preview of what the 4k would look like.
