Steve Jobs Resigns

My son in law and I attended the first Maker Faire in San Mateo in 2006. Steve Jobs was the guest speaker, he arrived riding around the grounds on a Segueway scattering the crowds, some complained till they knew it was Mr. Jobs.

'Oh that's alright then' went the general comment even when he was 20mins late to the speakers podium .. and it was worth the wait.

The pavilion was packed for his speech, he spoke of his early history including some funny incidents, the present and his future predictions and then he answered all the audience questions, the good/weird/negative/stupid .. till the mc told us he had to go home.

Very impressive with a great personality.

I heard somewhere that in after hour trading, Apple's stock has already dropped almost $20..shows the amount of faith investors have/had in Steve Jobs.

You can expect that or more but in the current negative macroeconomic climate the higher risk would appear to be that those who normally put a lot of faith in the stock during the selloffs might now be less inclined to buy the dips, thereby leading to much greater volatility.

Truly a very inspiring person and was way ahead of his time. He's up there with Nikola Tesla, Jacque Fresco, William Dickson, Charles Babbage and the list goes on. Thanks Steve, get well soon because Apple is going to need you again !
