Hey everyone,
I'm attempting a work around for the GH1's AGC. LearningDSLRvideo.com showed one technique that can be used to get round the AGC problem with the T2i. The cable he uses actually splits the stereo jack into two separate channels, so you can then feed your mics input into one channel (left channel for example) and then plug an mp3 player into the right channel. A 19khz tone is loaded onto the player, then is feed into the right channel. With this 'hack' it fools the AGC, and then in editing you just simply delete the 'tone' channel, and your left with your 'good' track.
My question is.. is there any cable out there that splits the stereo signal into two separate channels? So far, i am yet to find one :/ To my understanding, the man at LearningDSLRvideo.com, had created the cable himself. Can anyone help me out? Maybe provide me with a link where i could purchase one. Thanks!
