FEATURE: STEP OFF (was "Battle") - Narrative Feature

Just found out that Step Off is available through your X-box Online...so, you know, take a look if you've got X-Box...

Thank you,

Martin

It looks like this is the last week of Official broadcasts on Starz for April
http://www.starz.com/titles/stepoff

Today at 11:10AM and 9:35PM and on Friday at 8:40AM

So figured I'd give an update on that.

However, it is available on STARZ On Demand through September (at least on my Comcast System).

So, no excuse to miss it if you have Starz :)

Take it easy,

Martin

Looks like it'll be back on broadcast in July.

The 1st screening time for July just popped up.

Of course, watch it in HD from STARZ On Demand through September!

Check out a new song from "Step Off" Composer Samuel Abrahamsen A.K.A. Rhythmlord

It's a dub-step/Pulp Fiction mash-up so I figured film folks would dig it.

Was re-reading some of the discussion as I can an email reminding me about SNOW ON THA BLUFF discussions since it will be released tomorrow.

But I wonder if anyone ever checked out this cool Dubstep track from our composer so figured I'd quote this link.

The more I read the great discussion that happened in this thread the more proud I am of it. Great stuff not just about Step Off...which is STILL available On Demand from STARZ and will screen at least 4 times in July on Starz.

Martay,

This crossed my mind. Any chance for a Step Off 2? If you haven't thought about it, maybe you should.

I'm thinking that a good script could draw even more attentions since you had big distro from the first one. You're in the position that I hoped to be in. You got the first done under your own power and methods. Then instead of using lesser knowns in the second one like Stomp the Yard did, pitch to a couple more guys/gals that Lionsgate would consider A list. Place them alongside the people that already have from the first. Could be a win, win for everyone.

I'm sure Lionsgate has a stake in part 2, correct? Send them a letter to see what they say about a new treatment.

He said while he acknowledges a place for everything, he would feel much better (to quote him), "If we had our BLIND SIDES and GOOD WILL HUNTINGS alongside the types of movies about us that Hollywood already puts out."

Things Fall Apart is pretty good actually. It's got a few Mario-isms and stuff that's a little more on the nose than I'd like (which happens in many of his movies) but overall it works well.

I missed this when it came out. Just looking for a particular post. But "Things Fall Apart" has come up several times lately. I've been wanting to check it out so I'll make that happen.

MVP is one of the best people that you can interview. Cordial...historic...knowledgeable.

Battle won't die, it multiplies. Great to see that it still has legs. Did Immigration Tango continued to get additional showings like this one has? Tieuel Legacy! in Motion

Okay, this might be the last broadcast on STARZ for a while.

Tomorrow morning (OCTOBER 20th) at 6:45AM EST. So set your DVR if you're not an early morning person :)

Anyway, hope to have more news on it later but we will have news on our next feature "blackhats" pretty soon.

Viva Step Off!
