Steady cam vest arm etc

Im currently using the Laing X-15. Probably not the best, but certainly budget friendly. I'm currently using it to mount the Ronin on to, and it's been handling the weight just fine. And that's with fs700, wireless follow focus and O7Q.

Hi Chris - what I use is a Steadicam Pilot Arm/Vest with a custom machined post with a Glidecam HD 4000 sled that I modified with curved handle. I added a 7" monitor at the fore and 2 batteries at the aft of the sled (it only really needs one but it balances correctly with 2). Finally, I routed out a small hole and ran HDMI down through the tube and linked it to the monitor. The arm can handle 15lbs and so that gives it a camera payload of about 8-9lbs, easily enough for most cameras. You could use the 7Q in place of the monitor. I think I spent about $1800 on everything. I'm probably going to sell it because I don't end up using it very often, but it works very well in this weight class.
