problem with any high end video camera is the connection to an HD monitor and recorder making steadicam very difficult, find a way of fast playback or high quality transmittable signal.

HD requires an incredible amount of setup time and equipment compared to film. Simplicty is the key. If the raw data is good then anything can be done in post. External control of a cameras functions is usefull but should not get in the way of the actual process of filming.
 
...Well, at least s/he's combining stupid ideas in one thread now...

Here's a sugestion for the next contest: how about 1 thread only per participant (all all ideas within)?
