State Farm commercial shot on DSLR?

I saw a new State Farm commercial which was basically a WS outside a store with various pans following the action. It looked unusually poor in video quality and seemed to have "jello". Anyone know for sure if it was shot on a DSLR?

I know what spot your talking about- Highly doubtful it was on a dslr. State Farm seems they are trying to create a personal and real feel- almost documentary. They are not using a commercial lighting look (no nice wrapping soft keys, no catch lights), off the cuff line delivery... Im guessing its a PV Genesis or similar (maybe Red?) based on what ive seen, then degraded in post of course to look more "real"/ approachable.

I know the spot your talking about. If that was a RED, they did a good job of ruining the image. Some of the worst national ads I've seen in awhile. Looks like a concept that just didn't translate right.

It seemed to have a unique "badness" to it...somethig to do with the way it handled movement of the cam. Trying to understand if it was artifacting. When you see a company having generally pro looking ads..then one that is strangely bad, wondering of it was due to some unique approach...DSLR video being one possibility.

IMO- The "non-pro" looking ads were nicely executed and balanced. It's like they were trying to elude the fact they are a big ass company that really doesn't care about you with the smooth personal talk of Keanu Reeves distant cousin, and it may have worked... by the way ask your neighbor if it was shot on a dslr and then call allstate...
