Starting from scratch...Need the basics...books? tutorials?

Hey folks,

After much research, I sprung for the Canon AHA1. Very psyched I got it this week. However, I read through the manual and realize there is a lot to learn not only about the A1, but DV in general.

Can anyone recommend any great books, tutorials, dvd's or somewhere to start?

I am not very technical, but willing to learn.

I got the Vasst traning DVD( inside the Canon XHA1 &XHG1). It is really good. Tells you alot of the advance menu. Check out the video sample on thier site. Worth my 79U.S.D

Do a lot of searches and reading on this site every time you have a question. It's just as good as any books and it's free, which is even better.
