My first feature film Standing Firm came out nationally last year and has expanded into over a dozen other countries. I've been very Blessed to see this little movie made for pennies released like this. It's recently been approached by a company called FilmBuff for digital acquisition across the board including DirectTV, iTunes, PayPerView, and more. They're the ones recently partnering with Edward Burns to take his lower budget indie movies and bring them to an audience. Can't wait to do another film!

The movie is a Christian film so some might have zero interest, but if you love low-budget filmmaking, I hope it can be an inspiration to you and that you'll share it amongst your buddies. I worked very hard on this thing, and packed the DVD with lots of great BTS including two commentaries that get down and dirty about the "process."

I've released the first 5 minutes to hopefully give it a boost of interest in the market. Our fan page on Facebook is over 270,000 fans so I know there's plenty that haven't purchased the film yet. Maybe releasing this will help the cause. Thanks for watching!

Be sure to watch it in HD :)

Kyle, I wish you all the luck and success with your film. Just watched the first 5 minutes and the word that comes to mind is beautiful. Just beautiful. This was very professional and every shot you had was on the money. I especially like the scene when the father is in the room by himself looking at the cross. Your slow dolly shots were perfect. The shots of the funeral were very nice as well. Big thumbs up!!!

Thanks Marlon, I appreciate the warm response! It was tough to pan/tilt, focus, and dolly at the same time for some of those shots. :P Just the nature of having a two man crew!
