I think I used a DVX Match Preset from Disjecta. The only thing it did was make the colors more rich to start...the lighting is what really made the difference. The A1 is a great camera for its price, incredible to say the least.

The first cut of the film passed 80mins yesterday! :) We have a few scenes left to shoot and that's it. Without a doubt I think we'll be hitting our original goal of 90mins. Also there has been some awesome stuff happening in terms of putting the cut together and seeing a mistake or two that is removable completely, things of that sort. Mistakes we've made during shooting have been fixed by other "mistakes" that have happened on different days of shooting. Even mistakes in the edit have proved to be solutions in some instances. God really has been watching over this entire project to make sure its the best it can be. I love when he uses my mistakes and idiocy for His Glory....lol.

Also I hope to start working on a new trailer, something that will be the Official one until release time hopefully. Gotta make it REALLY good :)

Here are some quick cutaways I got on Sunday morning last week. The weather really stinks here right now so it was no or never to catch this stuff. I got everything I needed very quickly and it looks great!

This is my father on the left with my best friend Brad on the right. I just happened to catch them as they shook hands while I was out there....I'm so glad I'll be able to get my father in the film.

GOOD NEWS:

Just found out that KKLA 99.5 in Los Angeles will be talking about STANDING FIRM on Saturday Nov. 1st @ 9pm PST. Tune in to check out what they have to say about our little project here in WNY.

You are doing a great thing this industry needs more films like this! Keep it up. Stills look great.

God Bless,
Graham Robbins

Thanks Graham, I appreciate the support. It's coming together piece by piece. Definitely a learning experience and the "look" of the film is turning out to be exactly what I had hoped for.
